I’m so excited for orientation next week! I’m leaving a little early to spend some time with my best friend before heading to a swanky hotel for a week away from carousel music and caricature-drawing. It’s going to be amazing. Hopefully some of my questions will be answered, too. When exactly will I be leaving? Late August? September 1? Not until October? The answer is not as clear as it was at first, but I’m waiting to meet in person the people I’ve been communicating with online for months now, and I trust that all will resolve itself. And I’ll get my letter of invitation. And my visa. All in time to arrive there when I should. Fingers crossed!
